I love playing and jamming!
Honestly I am not a great guitar player, but I do think I am good at what I do.
A typical gig depends on how much time I am given. You will probably hear an assortment of music, A mix of classic rock, classic country, as well as my originals.
My originals for now will be present at just about every performance. Cover songs will always be changing.
Currently I attend Open Mic Night just about every Tuesday night, at Mama Jama's in phoenix, come checkout the place and the musicians. (each musician gets to play 2 songs)
Early October 2006 I played a 25 minute set at the Rainbows Festival.
1. Deal (Jerry Garcia/Grateful Dead) 2. All My Loving (The Beatles) 3. Rock My World (original) 4. Time Is ON My Side (Rolling Stones) 5. AA Rockstar (original) 6. Jack A Roe (traditional) 7. Ode to Babs (brand new Original dedicated to Ms. Barbara Seville)
On October 26 I went into a studio Naive as Hell. I thought it would be easy.
Six hours later I was exhausted, but I had my own solo/accoustic studio recordings of the of the following original songs.
1. Our Lady of Hope 2. On the Mountain 3. Rock My World 4. All That I Know 5. AA Rockstar 6. Ode to Babs 7. Jericho
Yadda Yadda Yadda was supposed to be recorded, but i was not satisfied with the lyrics, and have since changed them.
A week later I also wrote a bilingual Tex/Mex styled tune called "Vieja Mitoterra". I've been performing it at Mamma's, Barry's, and for other friends, and they all love it.
I can't wait for bilingual people to hear it...its a raunchy song about a gossipy old woman who is given a "magic" pastry, see's God, and gives in to her repressed carnal lust. I hope I don't blush too much when I perform it for my aunts.
Saturday January 27, 2007 I played at Troy's birthday party. He was 29 years old for the 13th year in a row. The audience was captive and unique in that I know most everyone there. For whatever reason it was a good night for me and i got a positive response from everyone except the lady who reminded me of my high school english teacher. The night ended on a scary note as a few of the guests were victimized the Granite Reef Pantie Bandit.
